BPS (Beschrijvende Plaatsaanduiding Systematiek) voor DVM-systemen is the system that Rijkswaterstaat uses to describe (measurement) points on the national road network. A BPS code consists of 20 hexadecimal digits. A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that can perform the same decoding operation is available too.
